Japan visitors top 3 mln for third month as yen fuels boom

日元疲软刺激旅游，日本连续三月入境游客超300万人次

Japan had more than 3 million visitors for a third straight month in May, official data showed, as the weak yen helped continue a record pace for inbound tourism. The number of foreign visitors for business and leisure was 3.04 million last month, steady from the level in April, and down slightly from the all-time monthly record in March, data from the Japan National Tourism Organization showed. Arrivals last month were up 60% from the same period last year and 9.6% higher than in May 2019.

官方数据显示，日本5月份游客接待量连续第三个月超过300万人次，日元疲软使日本入境旅游继续保持创纪录的增长速度。

日本国家旅游局的数据显示，上个月赴日商务和休闲旅游的外国游客数为304万人次，与4月份持平，但略低于3月份创下的单月最高纪录。

上个月的入境人数比去年同期增长了60%，比2019年5月高出9.6%。
