泰国湄卡运河

湄卡运河始于清迈市西部山区，是泰国的内陆运河。清迈是泰国北部的一个重要城市，以其优美的环境、凉爽的气候和丰富的文化遗迹而著称。这座城市被称为“泰北玫瑰”，环境优美，气候宜人，是著名的避暑胜地。湄卡运河也是清迈河道网的重要组成部分，为当地的灌溉与防汛做出了重要贡献，此外也兼具生态保护和休闲娱乐功能。上个世纪末，随着城市化进程加快，工业和城市废水污染严重，湄卡运河面临迫切的改造与升级。为恢复湄卡运河生态，清迈政府携手高等院校和民间组织，积极组织开展河道治理项目。
