九十年代初期，曾分别获市书法大赛草书“三等奖”，

其书法得书法家，书法理论家王根权老师和古汉隶书法家房振荣先生指点。

2018 年为陕西古汉隶书法大家房振荣先生修残补缺曹全碑撰序。

2018 年获中国书画大赛草书“三等奖”。

2019 年获中国书法名家邀请赛“三等奖”。

并授予“最具潜力书法家”称号。

2020 年元月，邓甲贵应邀参加“国际、中国公益事业大典”，获“2019 年度最佳艺术家公益践行者”。

2020 年 6 月，经（人民日报）创古袭今栏目组审议评选

为“人民代表艺术家”。

2022 年 4 月荣获“嘉远翰墨杯”全国书画大赛一等奖。
